To encounter the Ancient Giant Eagle, head to the Rosymorn Monastery, located in the Mountain Pass region of Baldur's Gate 3.

The Battle

Phase 1: The Minions

Before reaching the Ancient Giant Eagle, you must defeat its minions, a flock of Giant Eagles.

Phase 2: The Ancient Giant Eagle

Once the minions are defeated, you will face the Ancient Giant Eagle.

• Strengths: High damage, flight
• Weaknesses: Susceptible to ranged attacks

Tactics:

• Use ranged attacks to exploit the eagle's weakness.
• Stay mobile to avoid its powerful dive attacks.
• Prioritize healing and buffing your party members.

Rewards

Upon defeating the Ancient Giant Eagle, you will receive the Ceremonial Warhammer, a powerful weapon.

Alternative Outcome

If you choose not to kill the Ancient Giant Eagle, it will become an ally and assist you in the fight against the githyanki.
